January 24, 2017 – Psalm 18:30-31

God’s way is perfect. All the Lord’s promises prove true. He is a shield for all who look to him for protection. For who is God except the Lord? Who but our God is a solid rock? Psalm 18:30-31There is nothing as difficult as traveling and suddenly realize you are lost from all you know.  When a child is lost from his Mom, he cries!  Why? Because he knows to be safe, he needs his Mom and Dad.  As he grows up, he learns about friends, yet they often disappoint him. Blessed is the child whose parents teach him the way through Jesus is love.Jesus never lets us down.  When we learn humility (thinking more of others than ourselves), having the same loving/forgiving attitude as Christ, we never feel lost.  Why Jesus?  He is our fortress, He is our Rock, He is our Shield and protection.  We can trust and believe in Jesus!Then make me truly happy by agreeing wholeheartedly with each other, loving one another, and working together with one mind and purpose. Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too. Philippians 2:2-4.No matter how difficult things become in this life, our confidence and hope comes from knowing this – Our Lord lives!  When we can praise God, our Rock and our Salvation in every situation, we find God’s Way.The Lord lives!
