October 14, 2015 – 2 Corinthians 1:3-4

2Corinthians1-3-4Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that  we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.  2 Corinthians 1:3-4God comforts us with hope and peace and strength.  He leads us through deep valleys of despair to high mountains of hope and faith.  He helps us see the next step when we trust in Him.  Hindsight helps us see the paths that were made straight and bridges that God built to the next moment in our lives.I’m trading my sickness – I’m trading my pain – I’m laying it down for the joy of the Lord.  We say – yes, Lord, yes, Lord, yes, yes, Lord – Yes, Lord, yes, Lord, yes, yes, Lord, Yes, Lord, yes, Lord, yes, yes, Lord, Amen! (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gHDix8HHWCg – Redmond)There is nothing more freeing than giving your all to the Lord, saying YES, Lord!  Waking up in the morning, and praising Him.  Saying Yes to whatever is His will for you that day.  Try saying, Yes – to the Lord first thing and watch the smile on your face reflect His Glory.  Moment by moment, day by day, listen to the Leading of the Lord.  Finding the Joy of the Lord is just saying Yes to Him who loves you!For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, whom we proclaimed among you, Silvanus and Timothy and I, was not Yes and No, but in him it is always YES. For all the promises of God find their YES in him. That is why it is through him that we utter our Amen to God for his glory. 2 Corinthians 1:19-20
