November 26, 2015 – Psalm 75:1

We give thanks to you, O God; we give thanks, for your name is near. We recount your wondrous deeds. Psalm 75:1We don’t have to wait until a special day to give thanks to God.  Not on Thanksgiving, New Year’s Day, or on Sunday.  Not once a day but every moment, we give thanks.  When we read His Word, we know how much God has done, to help his people.  ‘His people’ are those who love Him, have faith in Him, and trust in Him.Chris Tomlin wrote these lyrics to praise God: How great is our God…Sing with me…How great is our God…And all will see…How great, how great is our God.We may not be able to write beautiful lyrics, but we can still tell others about how Great our God is.  (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xi0yLRX4d2M) He is powerful, He is able lead us and guide us.  He is able to take away the power the wicked have.  What makes us good?  Knowing who God is and loving Him even when we can’t see Him.Tell and sing!  From deep inside of our hearts, we tell and sing of God.  King David often praised the Lord. The Lord is my strength and shield. I trusted him with all my heart. He helped me, so I am happy.  I sing songs of praise to Him.  Psalm 28:7.This Thanksgiving look to the Lord to lead you and trust Him with all your heart.  You will be happy.  Sing songs of praise to Him.I will always tell people how great God is. I will sing praise to the God of Jacob. God says, “I will take away any power the wicked have and give it to those who are good.” Psalm 75:9-10
