Let everyone see that you are considerate in all you do. Remember, the Lord is coming soon. Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:5-7How awesome and wondrous. The Lord is coming. Pray about everything. All we do is let God know what we need, and THANK Him for all He has done. He will take it from there. No one else can assure us of peace that comes from giving thanks… No one else sent Jesus into the world. No one else died on the cross for our sins. No one else gives us our daily bread. No one else forgives us of our sins. NO ONE ELSE loves us.Therefore, Repent. When I posted Psalm 50:22-23, a dear friend of mine, a talented artist in many ways, wrote this….God definitely can be seen as a lion in that first sentence. This verse makes me envision two people out in the African plains. The first is stomping around through tall brush, trying to find their own way across the vast stretch of land. They stumble upon a fierce lion and are devoured. The second is observant and open to the ways of nature, looking and listening for signs of guidance. He finds a trampled path made by the lion through the brush and is able to follow it respectfully and safely. (Thanks, Dylan) Repent, all of you who forget me, or I will tear you apart, and no one will help you. But giving thanks is a sacrifice that truly honors me. If you keep to my path, I will reveal to you the salvation of God. Psalm 50:22-23
