November 16, 2018 – Psalm 24:1-2
The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it. The world and all its people belong to Him. For He laid the earth’s foundation on the seas and built it on the ocean depths. Psalm 24:1-2.
Everywhere I go, everything I see, I know the Lord has been there before me. He created the earth and all the people who inhabit His earth. I stand on the edge of the great ocean and your power in the waves sweeps through me. The towering trees lifting their arms in prayer, the water fall’s powerful sound tells of your strength and the song of the tiny trickle of water across the rocks tells me of the gentleness of your love. The rising sun, bringing the dawn, tells me of your faithfulness.
Cleanse me, Oh, Lord, from the ugliness of sin. Purify my heart and mind. Keep me from telling lies to myself and others. May I only worship You, Oh, Lord. Purify me from my sins, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow. Psalm 51:7.
Lord, you are mine! I promise to obey your words! With all my heart I want your blessings. Be merciful as you promised. I pondered the direction of my life, and I turned to follow your laws. Psalm 119:57-59.
You prepare a feast for me in the presence of my enemies. You honor me by anointing my head with oil. My cup overflows with blessings. Psalm 23:5
Who may climb the mountain of the Lord? Who may stand in His holy place? Only those whose hands and hearts are pure, who do not worship idols and never tell lies. They will receive the Lord’s blessing and have a right relationship with God their Savior. Such people may seek You and worship in Your presence, O God of Jacob. Psalm 24:3-6.
