His faithful love endures forever. Psalm 136:13-15King David knew about the exodus of the people from the land of the Egypt. Why? Because this is a Story of the Faith in God handed down generation after generation. The Faith of Abraham in God, led him to follow God’s commands.When I lost a baby and then a miscarriage, I drew strength from the Faith Story of my Grandmother. She lost four babies. When I fell and broke a wrist bone, and a shoulder bone, I drew strength from her. She managed to care for her family through her pain. When it became evident I was to become a caregiver for my husband, I drew strength from my other Grandmother who cared for her paralyzed husband until his death. Each of us has a hurtful tragedy in our heart – how do we respond?Do we recognize God’s leading in our lives? Where do we draw strength to travel on? Moses and the people were rescued from slavery in God’s Way. How did the people of Israel respond? They chose to sing praise to the Lord. The happening wasn’t karma or happenstance, but God’s blessedness. God saved Israel from famine, through Joseph’s darkest hour of betrayal of his brothers. But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive.
