July 29, 2016 – Psalm 77:13-14

O God, your ways are holy. Is there any god as mighty as you? You are the God of great wonders! You demonstrate your awesome power among the nations. Psalm 77:13-14You are the God of Great Wonders!  The Author of the Greatest Love Story, is written in God’s Holy Word.  Under the sun we see the power of God among the nations and through the wind and thunder and lightening.  And through the trembling and shaking of the earth, our road to walk on appears.  A road of life that leads through a garden of loving one another.King Solomon saw the smaller story under the sun, as we often do, and thought there was no more.  Yet Paul in the midst of shipwrecks, scorned, imprisoned and beheaded because of his faith in Jesus, saw joy.  Paul looked above the sun, where God sees all our wanderings.  There is no end to the joy that awaits us, above the sun.   While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.  II Corinthians 4:18.Look beyond what is, and see what will be. That is Joy. If we keep our eyes on Jesus, whom we cannot see, and we know He is coming for us.  In this blip of life we live, may we live in His love, be thankful and loving as He commands.  Live ready for His coming!This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. John 15:12.Your thunder roared from the whirlwind; the lightning lit up the world! The earth trembled and shook. Your road led through the sea, your pathway through the mighty waters— a pathway no one knew was there! Psalm 77:18-19
