July 27, 2016 – I Thessalonians 3:13
May he, as a result, make your hearts strong, blameless, and holy as you stand before God our Father when our Lord Jesus comes again with all his holy people. I Thessalonians 3:13It is not in our power to be pure and blameless. Only through Jesus Christ can we be blameless of the sin within our hearts. If you are deluded into thinking, as I once was, that I am good. Then I read this —For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard. Romans 3:23. The next verse tells me the how and why -Yet God, in his grace, freely makes us right in his sight. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our sins. And I praise the One and Only God Who created this complex world. I read His Word, and will worship no other god. I was put on this earth to serve Him and worship Him. God sent Jesus to make me pure and blameless in His eyes. The Psalm 28:6-7, proclaims the words of praise I know in my heart….Praise the Lord! For he has heard my cry for mercy. The Lord is my strength and shield. I trust him with all my heart. He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy. I burst out in songs of thanksgiving.Everything I do and say, let it be committed to the Lord only. Help me, Lord, to trust you day and night and give you all the praise and glory. Let me be innocent before you and my life glorify only You! Amen and Amen!Commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust him, and he will help you. He will make your innocence radiate like the dawn, and the justice of your cause will shine like the noonday sun. Psalm 37:5-6
