July 20, 2020 – Psalm 25:12-14

Who is the man who fears the Lord? Him will He instruct in the way that he should choose. His soul shall abide in well-being, and his offspring shall inherit the land. The friendship of the Lord is for those who fear Him, and He makes known to them His covenant. Psalm 25:12-14.

He who loves purity of heart, and whose speech is gracious, will have the king as his friend. Psalm 22:11.   Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends. You are my friends if you do what I command you.  John 15:13-14.

The measure of a friend is love and forgiveness.  No one born on earth of man is perfect. The righteousness of God is shown through the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. For there is no distinction: for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,  and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. Romans 3:22-24.

Our Father, may we  strive for peace with everyone, and for the holiness without which no one will see the Lord. Hebrews 12:14. Search me, O God, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts! And see if there be any grievous way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting! Psalm 139:23-24 I pray in the name of Jesus.  Amen.

As each day I lift up my eyes to You, O Lord, and pray you guard my soul and deliver me from evil. You guide me with your counsel, and afterward you will receive me to glory. Whom have I in heaven but you? Psalm 73:24-25a.

My eyes are ever toward the Lord, for He will pluck my feet out of the net. Turn to me and be gracious to me, for I am lonely and afflicted. Psalm 15-16.
