December 28, 2016 – Psalm 139:13-14

You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex.  Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it. Psalm 139:13-14

God spends time with each tiny baby He forms in the womb.  He makes each of us so complex — so tiny in the secret world of the womb.  His love is poured out in his workmanship for each of us.God saw each of us before we were born and planned each day of our lives, wrote this in his book.

Not just one day, but each moment, before even a single day passes.  Our lives are lived in His sight. Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. Psalm 139:23.

God oversees all aspects of our lives.  Every breath we take comes from Him.  He knows the number of our hair and is with us each step we take.  His glory surrounds us.  What if our tiny life is cut short, or not taught the love of God?  How can any person destroy the work of God?  Parenthood is a choice.  The choice to choose parenthood, and as the days go by, not to thwart the leading of God in each child’s life.  Parenthood is a lifetime calling of love, prayer, and following after God’s way each moment of every day.  The mystery of love never ends. It simply grows.

As each child learns God is Love, Our Father in Heaven smiles to see this and each child growing in faith and knowledge of his or her Maker.  Blessed be the Lord!

You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb. You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed. Psalm 139:15-16
