August 3, 2017 – Isaiah 55:8-9

“My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord. “And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine. For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts.” Isaiah 55:8-9.

When I walk under a canopy of the stars, I long to touch a star.  Then I realize my arms are not long enough.  I am content to know the stars proclaim the presence of our Lord God!  Even though I cannot reach the heavens from earth, through Jesus, my prayers to our Heavenly Father reach Him.

God’s ways and His thoughts are higher than anything you or I will ever think.  When I think of his Creation, I see Him at every turn, and I am amazed.  He loves each of us so much, God sent His Only Son Jesus, to pay for our sins to make us ready to live with Him.

His Word – always produces fruit – because the Words of Jesus changes hearts and we can live in joy and peace, because He loves.  Have you ever seen a tall snow capped mountain pointing to God? The height and grandeur praise their Creator.  Have you ever seen a field of trees clapping their hands?  Look again.  Even a tree can teach us of God’s Love.  A tree raises its branches in praise.  In the Spring, each new leaf praises God.  A small breeze rustles through the leaves making soft clapping sound of praise!

Let the joyous Word sweep into your heart and lift you in the wonder and praise of the Lord God, Who has given each of us the greatest gift of forgiving and unconditional love.  Make a way for God’s Way in your heart.  For you are great and perform wonderful deeds. You alone are God.  Psalm 86:10.

It is the same with my word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it. You will live in joy and peace. The mountains and hills will burst into song, and the trees of the field will clap their hands! Isaiah 55:11-12.
